Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a
2-year certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
NRP Course Structure
Our NRP class has been reformatted to utilize a blended learning format which involves an online portion and an in-person instructor-led portion according to AAP guidelines.
STEP ONE: Study and Prepare (Before Course)
- Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation, 8th Edition. NRP books are also available for purchase and pick up in house during registration.
STEP TWO: Complete the Online Requirements (Before Course)
- Visit aap.org/NRP and select “NRP 8th Edition Platform”
- PLEASE CHOOSE ADVANCED CURRICULUM
- The online course cost is NOT included in the course fee.
- ALTERNATIVELY: copy and paste NRPLEARNINGPLATFORM.COM to your seach bar and LOG IN. Once on your dashboard, click COURSE CATALOG found in the menu across the top. Once redirected, click ADVANCED from the menu to the left of your screen and an option for 8TH EDITION ADVANCED PROVIDER 1-11 for $55 will pop up. Click it and it will walk you through the payment process and allow you to begin your course.
STEP THREE: Attend the Course
- The course is hands-on and lasts appx 1 hour
